However, special provision has been made for the administration team:

You agreed to these guidelines, which are displayed publicly here in this forum, when you signed up. You agreed with the statement that the administration team can read any personal messages if the need should arise.

Yes they are. But it's pointless arguing with this anyway, you agreed with these guidelines when you signed up. Why did you even ask the question? Or did you just not read the guidelines at all when you signed up, even though you are required to read them when you register, and you have to affirm a statement that you have read them?

I have never before heard of any one besides you here of divulging Private Messages without first obtaining the permission of the other party.
Sure your guidelines cover you for doing that, but as I said I have not heard of it being implemented before.
I now know they are not PM's at all, but that term is a misnomer here.
I would like to say more publicly as I certainly have nothing shameful to hide, however I have been warned via PM that I am not permitted to air my grievences openly or face potential banning, so that is a sure fire way of again silencing any fair criticism publicly here.

Then you clearly didn't read the guidelines at BTDF or here.

Since it's clearly in the guidelines, why would it not be implemented here? The only issue here is that you failed to read the guidelines which you affirmed you had read and agreed with. The fault is entirely yours.

What nonsense. They are private. Other forum members cannot read them. Only board staff members can read them, and only in specific circumstances.

You are confusing two separate issues. This forum is not a place for you to air your personal grievances. It's not a place for anyone to air their personal grievances. It's a place for Bible discussion. If you have 'fair criticism' on the other hand, you're welcome to post it here. I doubt that you were warned not to share 'fair criticism'. Don't confuse the two.

Actually on most forums, probably all of them the administrators have the control of all messages if required or they would not be administrators. The job of administrators is to be able to control harrassment and other problems on a site
