You might have noticed some changes ^_^

Ive upgraded the forum software and with it comes a new skin. I hope you like it. The new version has some extra features but I feel that enough of it is the same that you'll still be familiar with it. If you find any killer new features then please let us know.

You may also notice a change in the name at the top. We've always been affiliated with the thisisyourbible.com website but now we are taking steps to be even more connected. The forum purpose and goals are the same.

God bless,
Tim

Hey Yohonron,

I'm not sure how you did it before but there still is a link still at the top right called "View New Content". Like so.

Another good link to bookmark is
http://www.openbible...earch&do=active

That will get you today's active topics. At the bottom right of this screen you can change the time span.

Hope this helps.

Private Message looks to be replaced with just sending someone a message and starting a conversation. It is really an awesome new feature. It's basically like you have your own private topic with someone you've sent a message and you can invite others to join.

If you go to the forum index. There are icons down the left hand side. If it is grayed out then there are no new posts in there. If the icon is active then you no there are some posts in there that you haven't read. Also the little bullet by the subforum will be a green color to show there's some posts in there to be read.

An even easier way is to bookmark this link http://www.openbible...earch&do=active
At the bottom right you can change the time.

You'll see all the active topics within that time period.

The bullets next to the topic can still be clicked to go to the last read post.

I don't know if you noticed but there's a new thing at the top of your profile page. It's called your status. You can put any thought in there, how you are doing, what's on your mind. It's kind of like twitter but just for our little forum. If you go to the main index of the board you'll see a block on the right hand side that lists the most recently updated statuses. Kinda cool. B)

In other news... somehow in the upgrade it dropped a bunch of our emoticons. :( I'll get them back in eventually.

After playing with it for a while I must say I reaaly like this new format.
Psalms 117 v 2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
